In this particular chapter we learn about the effectiveness of mind control and manipulation- now by reading this it might sound like some evil genius called Dr. Doofenshmirtz job description but it's not. It's actually more profound than it is cartoonish. The mind is very susceptible to being programmed into how to think.... and not being able to think for yourself can be very volatile to you and the people that you associate with. It is CRITICAL for you to acknowledge the outside influences but also to be steadfast enough in your thought process to choose what it is you are going to be influenced by and what you will not be influenced by. Some of us have more control of this than others in terms of how we impact our own minds and the minds of others- Parents, Teachers and Religious leaders are at the forefront of this concept as they lead by faith or fear!
